Every employee has a major influence on the quality of our work on a daily basis. From development, which defines the properties of our yarns together with the customer, to sales, which is our face to the customer, purchasing, which provides yarns when they are needed, our employees in production, who literally have the quality of our yarns in their hands, to our service departments logistics, IT, controlling, quality and the workshop, which all support us in our daily processes. The ZIMMERMANN team is a colorful mix of countries of origin, ages, genders and religions, and we see this diversity as a strength.
There is also great diversity in our yarns. We use a variety of different raw materials in the manufacture of our products, including polyamide, polyester, cotton, wool, carbon and glass,
hot-melt adhesive yarn in a wide variety of thicknesses, colors and textures.
With this diversity, our range comprises more than 7000 yarns in the areas of MEDtex, LIFEtex and TECHtex. Our product range is as diverse as the requirements of our customers
Sustainability
Anyone who - like us in the Allgäu - has a unique landscape in front of their eyes every day knows how valuable our nature is. That is why sustainability and resource conservation have long been the basis of our business activities.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT
For over 10 years, we have been working successfully with our energy management system to reduce our

WASTE PREVENTION / RECYCLING
Every kilogram of waste wastes raw materials and energy. This is why we have been

SUSTAINABLE RAW MATERIALS
We actively support our customers in replacing crude oil-based materials with bio-based or natural materials. Furthermore, covered yarns typically combine yarns with very different properties, making mechanical or chemical separation and thus recycling difficult or even impossible.
We therefore actively support customers in the selection and
use of non-toxic degradable yarns and elastane.
