Incoming goods inspections
All components of our products are checked in the laboratory for compliance with specifications before they go into production. In addition, our employees continuously monitor the material quality and report any anomalies.
Continuous monitoring of production
Setup acceptance and monitoring of ongoing production to ensure a consistently high quality standard.
Final inspection / test certificates
Testing and documentation of the specification for all finished products. Preparation of test certificates for our customers. In addition, 100% visual inspection of all finished products.
Services of our textile laboratory
Fiber identification
Quick test to determine the fiber type (e.g. cotton, polyester, wool, polyamide (PA6, PA6.6)).
Titer determination / yarn count
Determination of the linear mass of the yarn using a analyticscale (tex, dtex, den).
Tensile strength
Measurement of breaking strength and elongation according to DIN EN ISO 2062 to ensure the tensile strength of yarns.
elongation / elasticity
Determining how much a yarn can be elongated (hand elongation) and rebound behavior.
rotation/twist
Determination of the twist direction of the yarn (Z- / S- twist) and the number of revolutions per meter.
Filament control
Determination of the quantity of filaments and structure of yarns.
visual control
Structure and uniformity of the yarn under the microscope. Documentation possible using a camera microscope.
colour control
Color check on the sample knit or on the winding card. Check under defined light. Comparison with reference samples.
color fastness
Wash and water fastness with Morapex quick test
Oil coating
Checking the oil content on the yarn to ensure processability.
moisture content
Checking the yarn moisture to ensure processability.
Knot and error counting
Manual or automatic (Sensoptik) detection of yarn defects: knots, thick spots, irregularities
